Originally the embroiderers of Limpopo created covers, cushions and blankets based on standard templates. However, in this modern age, artists are free to incorporate their own images and ideals into their work, resulting in styles compatible with just about any decorum you can imagine.
In the beginning, artists worked to feed their families, but today, these artists have developed a keen sense of their abilities, and now proudly stitch their personal logos on their master-crafted products.
It is common for two artists to work on a single cover for months, weaving a rich tapestry of brilliant colors and perplexing forms into their work.
Despite these products being breathtaking works of art, every single item is washable at twenty degrees Celsius.
